A drug-dependent Environment Secretary with personality disorder?

Do you know that the minor Gina Lopez (Regina Paz Lopez) was voluntarily submitted to rehabilitation by her very own mother Conchita Lopez for drug addiction on 4 July 1974?

A Supreme Court record proves it (G.R. No. L-38850). Gina Lopez was committed to the DARE Foundation on the same day. On 13 September 1974, the Court issued an order directing Drs. Leonardo Bascarra and Bonifacio Pagaduan of the U.E.R.M. Memorial Hospital, expert psychiatrists duly qualified by the Court, to conduct a thorough physical examination on the person of Gina Lopez for the purpose of determining her progress on drug dependency and personality disorder. Probably sensing that she would be examined by said doctors, the drug dependent Gina Lopez escaped from the Dare Foundation, Inc.,

Why would someone not guilty of dependency and disorder evade examination?

Corollary, why would someone refuse to initially disclose the result of an audit conducted by a team of technical experts from her own agency if she is not guilty of issuing a decision outside the ambit of science and law?

Clearly, the Environment Secretary anchors her decisions on her personal advocacy formed by a narrow mind. Gina’s stubborn refusal to submit to law and science resulted in an obstinate problem of unemployment of thousands of workers and communities depending on the mining industry irrationally closed. This problem, she also refused to immediately arrest.

Because she does not know how it feels to lose a job. She does not know how it feels to sleep on empty stomach. She had never experienced, and never will, the pain of seeing your children suffer from hunger, malnutrition and lack of education. Because she was born a Lopez, a capitalist clan who ensures safety and security of their businesses by making their even inept family members influential. True, they made Gina Lopez an environmental advocate to consciously hide the fact of her drug dependency and disorder, a shame to the Lopez family. They made her appear a morally upright individual responsive to the society despite lack of technical capacity both in science and in law.

Why would we entrust the fate of the millions of Filipinos benefiting from responsible mining on someone like Gina Lopez, an unskilled individual with disorder who decides absent science and without recognition of our very own law?
